The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Chrysler is recalling certain 2021-2022 Dodge Durango, 2021-2023 Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, 2022 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, 2022-2023 Jeep Compass, Grand Cherokee, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and Ram Promaster vehicles. The radio software may prevent the rearview image from displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility." A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 1,033,433 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Corp. Micro Bird is recalling certain 2011-2025 Micro Bird G5 school buses, equipped with certain tracked 2-place seats with lap and shoulder seat belts. The seats may be improperly attached. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages." An improperly attached seat can detach in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 463 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021 F-150 vehicles equipped with the Onboard Scales feature. An over-the-air software update to the body control module (BCM) may have disabled both reverse lights. Disabled reverse lights cannot alert others that the vehicle is reversing, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 159 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Jayco is recalling certain 2024 Jay Feather travel trailers. A14-in., spare tire was mistakenly installed when the tire placard information is based on a 15-in., tire. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." Referring to the placard, the operator can inflate the tire to an incorrect pressure, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 24 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Mack Trucks is recalling certain 2024 MD vehicles. An incorrectly assembled high voltage connector could prevent the mechanical connector lock from properly engaging, allowing the high voltage cable to loosen. A loose high voltage cable can cause a sudden loss of steering and drive power, increasing the risk of crash. NHTSA says 24 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Paccar is recalling certain 2025 Kenworth K270, K370, T280, T380, T480, T680, T880, W900, W990, 2025 Peterbilt 220, 536, 537, 548, 567, 579, and 589 trucks. The tie rod or drag link assembly may contain an improperly heat-treated ball stud, causing the ball stud to break. A broken ball stud can cause a complete loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 3,887 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Thor Motor Coach is recalling certain 2023-2024 Omni and Magnitude motorcoaches. The emergency exit window could be blocked while outside griddle is in use. A blocked emergency exit window can delay occupants exiting the vehicle during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 35 units are potentially affected by the recall.
