The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of May 19, 2024:
- Velociti has promoted Deryk Powell to CEO. Former CEO Michael Kahn will continue in the role of executive chairman. Tim Kats also has been promoted to executive vice president and general manager; and Jim West has been promoted to chief information officer.
- Motiv named Scott Griffith as its new CEO. Griffith is the former CEO of Zipcar. ng
- Laurie Engle, Felling Trailers' inside trailer sales consultant, is retiring after 32 years with the company.
- The Marketing Executives Council of MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers announced that it has added Rebecca Conway – vice president, U.S./Canada Aftermarket Marketing, Clarios; and David Stewart – vice president, Sales & Marketing, Wells Vehicle Electronics.
- Lubrication Specialties, maker of Hot Shot's Secret and Franz Filter oil bypass filters, added Justin Brown, marketing project coordinator, and Mike Meyer, bypass filtration product specialist.
