Inland will include Phillips telematics, including the Smart7 system, Rear-VU Backup Camera, CargoVision, Permalite lighting and more, on all new builds. Existing customers will have the opportunity to retrofit trailers, the companies say.

The Smart7 system allows fleets to monitor trailer location, status and health. The nose box has an advanced integrated cellular gateway that collects sensor data and transfers it to a cloud-based platform, where fleet managers can access real-time information and analytics for improved efficiency and decision making.

Inland is incorporated TPMS, ATIS regulator, ABS monitoring and more. It will also integrate CargoVision, a real-time camera focused on cargo status and load conditions, and the Rear-VU backup camera, which enhances driver visibility.

"Inland is investing big in the future of our industry," says Rob Phillips, CEO of Phillips Industries and co-founder of Phillips Connect. "Rodrigo's vision of making smart trailers the standard has raised the bar in transportation and provides his customer with a value that no other trailer manufacturer has offered before."
