According to ProMAXX, the 900 Series has options available for Ford 6.7L Power Stroke, multiple versions for the GM 6.6L Duramax, and the Dodge/Fiat 3.0L EcoDiesel. A Nissan Titan/Cummins version is coming soon.
“Direct fuel injectors have raised the bar on removing difficult and even stuck fuel injectors,” says Jeff Del Rossa, ProMAXX Tool founder and Milton Industries Specialty Tool Group General Manager. “With increased power comes increased work and heavier towing loads, raising cylinder head temperatures that can create the perfect storm in servicing the fuel system in these engines. We eliminated the wasteful tech time of pulling a cab and removing the cylinder head, making the repair faster and getting these trucks back to work.”
ProMAXX's new kits feature new inline fuel injector adapters. Once in place, the NEW AirStrike Bi-Directional Air Hammer does its magic by combining its powerful 3,000 BPM with harmonic vibration to detach the bond between the unlike material surfaces in as fast as 15 seconds without causing damage.
For injectors in the back under the cowling, no problem, the company adds. Simply attach the 22-in., Shockit articulated punch and come up from underneath to remove these hard-to-reach injectors, the company says.
Finally, in addition to the 900 series, customers also can complement their kits with the new 200 Series Air Hammer-Assisted Injector Lift Kits for the same engines covered by the 900 Series, the company says.
