The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Alliance RV is recalling certain 2024 Avenue 22ML, 26RD, 29RL, 32RLS, 33RKS, 37MBR, and 38DBL travel trailers. The inverter circuit was improperly wired to a 30 amp breaker, which could allow the breaker to overheat. A breaker that overheats increases the risk of a fire. NHTSA says potentially 235 units are affected by the recall.
  • Corp. Micro Bird is recalling certain 2019-2022 G5 school buses. An inadequate connection between the power steering pressure line and the brake hydroboost unit may result in a sudden loss of power steering fluid. A sudden loss of power steering fluid can result in a loss of power steering and power brake assist, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says potentially 89 units are affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles. The Body Control Module (BCM) may inadvertently deactivate one or both rear tail lights. Rear tail lights that fail to illuminate can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says potentially 242,669 units are affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2017-2019 Transit Connect vehicles. An improper bond may exist between the panoramic roof and the vehicle body, which can result in the panel detaching from the vehicle. A roof panel that detaches while driving can create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. NHTSA says potentially 1,315 units are affected by the recall.
  • Highland Ridge RV is recalling certain 2022-2023 Mesa Ridge TT, Mesa Ridge XLT FW, Open Range Roamer FW, Open Range TT, Silverstar TT, and Silverstar XLT FW trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat. A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire. NHTSA says potentially 681 units are affected by the recall.
  • Reading Truck Body is recalling certain 2022-2024 RM-78 11' and RM-78 14' vehicles. The taillight may be incorrectly positioned, exceeding the maximum allowed height. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Incorrectly mounted taillights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says potentially 54 units are affected by the recall.
  • Starcraft RV is recalling certain 2023 GSL fifth wheel trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat. A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire. NHTSA says potentially 58 units are affected by the recall.
  • Winnebago Industries is recalling certain 2021-2023 Sunstar, Vista, 2022-2023 Cambria, Inspire, 2023 Forza, 2024 Minnie Winnie, Spirit, 2024-2025 Porto and Vita motorhomes. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat. A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire. NHTSA says potentially 1,166 units are affected by the recall.
